Pattern Booklet Featuring a jelly role and Lynne Hagmeier's Kansas Troubles Layered Patchwork and raw edge applique. Makes a 48" wall quilt with 14 seasonal toppers to change with the season. Templates included KT's Layered Patchwork technique simplifies traditional pieced blocks by eliminated multiple seams of difficult methods such as ySeams. By layereing triangles and squares with precut or biascut edges on background squares, blocks are flat, square and the perfect finished sizes. The layered pieces are topstitched close to the raw edges with matching or contrasting thread. Since the edges are pinked or cut on the bias they will softly curl and fray when washed but will not unravel. It creates a dimensional, textrual element to your quilts that is touchably soft and cuddly. Make it fast and fun
