Beginning Sewing Class #1 with Cathy James
Join Cathy James as she teaches us the basics of sewing!!! From threading your machine, what the different controls do, what kind of thread is best for each different material and project. This is for beginning sewers like me (Robin) who maybe haven't sewn a day in their life!!!! You will need a machine, if you don't have one borrow one or hit up a garage sale!!!! In class 1 we will make a table runner, class 2 is an apron and class 3 is a tote bag!!! Come learn with Robin & Cathy how to sew!!!! Please give the shop a call with any questions you may have!!! | Requirements: | Sewing machine, thread, fabric, cutting mat & rotary cutter if you have one, small pressing mat & iron if you have one, extra needles for your machine just in case!!! Bring all feet that came with your machine. Basic tools such as a seam ripper, fabric pens or clips, a fabric marker of some sort.
