In this exciting class you will learn 4 kinds of binding: straight binding, bias binding, two color binding, and flange binding using no tools whatsoever. There is some at home prep work required which will be given to you when you sign up for the class. You will need a sewing machine, glue stick, 1/4" foot with a flange and the usual sewing supplies including a small mat and 3x18 ruler. The prep before class is absolutely necessary for a successful outcome. You will need a fat quarter and 2 coordinating 1/4 yard cuts of fabric, stripes are acceptable and make a really cute binding. Join Judy Rice to learn collage, the pattern we are using has 3 different patterns that you can choose from. You will learn the basic technique to collage, quilting maybe needed to finish at home. This is a great class to use scrap fabric you have as well as selvedge strips with or without writing on them.
